The Northwest Danish Foundation is excited to be a sponsor for Joachim Parbo’s 2007/2008 racing season and welcomes him to the Pacific Northwest.

Parbo is a Danish National cyclocross champion and a Top 5 racer. He will participate in 14 races in the U.S. from September 15-November 15, 2007. During the week of October 1-8, 2007 NWDF members and friends in Seattle, WA will have the opportunity to meet Parbo and hear about his life as a pro Danish cyclist, his involvement in the anti-doping debate and his insight into Greenland. Parbo is currently finishing his Master’s Degree on Greenland.

2006 was a fantastic year for Parbo as he greatly progressed as a cyclist and reclaimed the Danish National Championship Title. On July 18, 2007 Parbo joined the CCV Cyclocross Italian racing team and looks forward to continuing his racing career as a full-time athlete.
