On Saturday June 17th, the Northwest Danish Foundation proudly sponsored the Pacific Northwest Ballet's 25th Annual School Performance of Konservatoriet by Danish choreographer August Bournonville at McCaw Hall in Seattle, Washington.  The 25th Annual PNB School Performance honors Mr. Flemming Halby who is retiring after two decades as the School Principal for the PNB School.

Flemming Halby trained at the Royal Danish Ballet School and eventually became a principal dancer with the Royal Danish Ballet.  Mr. Halby also performed with the First Cahmber Dance Company and was co-founder of the Seattle Dance Lab.  Originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, Mr. Halby is a Principal Character Artist for Pacific Northwest Ballet.  He has served as faculty of the School since 1986.
