The Blue Van is a rocking Danish band that will be playing shows in both Portland and Seattle in October. The band is made up of 4 lifelong friends that grew up together just north of Copenhagen in Broenderslev. These young lads started playing together back in 6th grade covering vintage blues tunes and hard rocking hits from the 1960’s. Their influences are evident in the new album, The Art of Rolling, but they add a raw sound and gritty guitar rock that make it their own. The NWDF library has copies of their new CD so give them a listen and then check out their shows in the upcoming months. Let’s show our support of Danish musicians by going to the show!
