Don't forget the new "folkehojskole" book group in Seattle!
Group members have chosen to read this month either one of two book choices: Far from Denmark by Peter Martins (the story of his development as a dancer at the Royal Danish Ballet and the New York City Ballet) or The Royal Physician's Visit by Per Olov Enquist (a historical novel set in the court of the deranged King Christian VII and his teenaged queen).
Everyone is welcome to join in the book group, so don't hesitate to attend our next meeting -- even if you missed the first one! Read one of the selected books and come to the book group's next meeting on Thursday, 16 November, at 7 p.m. at the Danish Cultural Center.
