Book Club
NWDF Folkeskole Book Club

The Northwest Danish Foundation is excited to announce the initiation of its own “folkeskole” – an umbrella program that will include a variety of activities and opportunities for Foundation members and the public to learn more about Danish language and culture.
The NWDF Folkeskole Book Club will discuss selected books either written by Danish authors or about Denmark. The group will meet one evening approximately every six weeks to discuss the book the group has read and will select at each meeting the book for its next discussion. Books selected will be available for reading in English translation as well as in Danish. Discussion will be in English. There is no charge for participation in the book group that will begin on Thursday, 19 October. For more information about the book group, call Amber at 206.523.3263.
