We will honor his memory with stories from his life told by his good friends in the community and show our appreciation for his generous Estate gifts.  Come share a glass of wine as we take a moment to honor a wonderful member of the Danish community.

Frederic William Mosher passed away on May 1, 2006 at the age of 75.  He was an active member of the Portland Danish community supporting programs of the Northwest Danish Foundation and as a member of the local Danish Brotherhood.  Fred served in the Navy during the Korean War and graduated from the US Naval Hospital Corps School.  Following his discharge he attended North Park College and Theological Seminary in Chicago.  During this time he worked as a vicar in a Catholic church.  For many years he owned and operated a furniture store in Saranac, Michigan.  Most recently, he lived in Portland, OR.  Survivors include his sister, Alice Bengtson. 

As requested by Mr. Mosher, we will honor his memory with a reception.  Mr. Mosher will truly be missed and we hope you can join us in October as we celebrate his life.
