Join the mountain bike/cyclo cross group ride with the Danish Champion, Joachim Parbo and the Rad Racer, Ian Terry.  The ride will begin at 10AM.

St. Edward State Park is just off of Lake Washington but you don't get any real lake views by bike except at the bottom of the Seminary Trail (which is actually a dirt road). The views are of the trails before you, the trees and brush, ferns, and some blackberry brambles. Level and rolling trails are punctuated by a few short bursts and maybe a little walking. It's fun, woodsy riding on hard-packed trails in the midst of the masses. Nearby civilization is not always bad; though the background noise you hear will be auto traffic, the trails are only a few pedal strokes from a mid-ride snack or a post-ride beverage! The kiosk by the parking area notes interesting facts about the park and the history of the former seminary. Read about it when you come; it's all well and good, but the really interesting stuff is the fun mountain-biking the area affords. Scenery: Deep forest trails amid suburban backdrop.
